As I understand it, my B23F engine is a non-interference engine. Are any of the later 240 engines interference types? The reason I ask is that Bentley refers to ensuring the engine is not turned over when the T-belt has been removed, to avoid valve to piston contact. And again, to ensure that the engine is turned 90 degrees from TDC before depressing the cam buckets when resetting valve clearance, to avoid the same valve/piston contact. I am confused. I have a B6304 engine and a Lotus 907 engine, both of which are definitely interference types, but what about the 240 line of engines?
Thanks in advance
