Idle troubleshoot help!! 200 1982

Hey everyone!
'82 242GLT with a low/rough idling problem. I'm not too familiar with this area of my brick, but i need to get it running smooth. I tried messing with the little screw that pushes the throttle plate, and it made it a little better, but the car idles at about 1500 in park, but in drive it's down super low at about 700. At 700 it runs real rough and wants to die. Is it just time for a tuneup? or do i need to be cleaning things? ALL advice is more than appreciated.
