740 Map pocket fit 1994 940? 900

I have seen several map pockets for sale on ebay. Some indicate that all 740's and 940's are interchangeable. Some say 740 or 940 only. Some say late 740 and 940 up to 1992. So, should I bid on the 740 for my 1994 940?
