I know its a 164, but from the hood back it looks like a 140 140-160 1969

thanks for the help about the 164 w/ coloumn shift, now I have another question about the same car.I went over to the junkyard in which it is currently resting, and I noticed something odd about it.From the back, and both sides it is a 144, in fact the only thing that identifies it as a 164 is the front end, and the abnormaly large, and funny looking "164" stamped on the back.
it is in fairly good condition, so is it a rare model?
should I buy it?
how much?
