Remote no longer working 󞩻 960] 900 1995

The remotes on a 1995 960 no longer work.....the batteries were replaced and now nothing happens at all! Do we have to reprogram them? They are clean inside and out. Also, in the programming procedure, what button do we hit? Thanks.
