Greetings Fellow Brickheads,
Over the weekend I changed my front brake pads (used OEM Volvo pads and the Volvo shims that came with them). Brakes feel fine with no vibration. No issues there that I can see...
However, after doing the driver's side, I dropped my car rather quickly by releasing the jack. When driving, I felt a weird vibration/rubbing type feeling from the driver's side when doing LOW speed turns. Feels like the tire is rubbing on something or maybe the tie rod is touching the wheel???
Removed wheel and discovered a small bend on the inside of the wheel. Everything else looked normal. Do you guys think that a bent rim can cause this rubbing feeling?
I plan on rotating the fronts to the rear to try and isolate the problem. Any thoughts? Could I have damaged something else?? Rack, tie rod ends and ball joints have been replaced...
Thanks for any and all help!!
Jim
