740 transmission question 700

Hi Everyone,

My '89 740 16 valve ( B234 F) has been shifting slightly rough. It has the automatic ( AW-72) transmission. I changed the fluid last summer and it made no difference. The old fluid wasn't that dirty. It still looked red/pink. Sometimes the car also "slips" when I try to accelerate from a stop. It's like it takes a second or two for the thing to kick into gear. Any ideas on what might cause this?
