For my immaculate 940 GLE sedan B234F 70K miles...

The "original" (I think) gasket was like 3 mm or so thick, solid non-flexible.
All repalcements I have ever seen are the aluminum flexible "compressible" thin types (you know...).

Any reason to use this thick (spacer-like) gasket?

Was it the same on B230F originals? Should I get it from the dealer?
