Took the interior panel off of the passenger-side rear door of my '91 745T today. Removed it per the FAQ, but managed to pop off the carpeted trim insert above the arm rest/door handle cup/window switch panel. The carpeted insert has molded-in clips that slide on over little white nylon studs that stick out from the door panel. BUT, the openings of the clips on the carpeted panel don't all face the same way. Like, for example, if the openings all faced forward, then you would line up the panel to the rear of where it should be and slide it forward on to the nylon studs. Problem is that the opening of the front clip faces toward the back of the car, and the other two face forward.
Anyone else ever have to put one of these back on and know how to do it? Also, if you break off one of the little nylon studs on the door panel, can you replace them?
