Hot start problem, and high idle 700 1989

Hello all

This is a great time of year to have a hot start problem(I am in Quebec)! When hot the car has to crank a long time before starting, once started it sputters for a few seconds then all is well. When cold it starts like a Volvo should and idles fine, as the temp rises so does the idle. Any body able to point me in the right direction?
