intermitant cut off 200 1986

I have an 86 240, well cared for. the problem is that sometimes the engine cuts off for a split second, could be part throttle or full throttle. It's not a miss, it feels as though the ignition key is being snappped off and then on again. Running fine, blam-nothing, runs fine again. Just tonight driving on the freeway at 70-75, I got completely off the gas to slow down for traffic, then squeezed down again-nothing, let off the gas once more and then eased gently into throttle, all is fine. By the way, full tank of gas. It's been doing this on and off for several months.
Things I've done to the car: put in B cam, clean maf sensor. Halp!
