I have been looking for what might be an imaginary wiper/washer switch for the 544 with no luck at all. I thought there might be such a switch based on the wiring diagram so I picked up a washer bottle/pump from a later model and would like to hook it up to a wiper/washer switch. I also got a switch from a 122 but the connections are different.
So, the question is, can a switch from a 122 that has three positions be wired to work both the wipers and washer on a 544?
The wiring diagram for the 122 has three wires between the wiper motor and the switch; red, black and green. The 544 has four wires between the motor and switch; red, black, green and blue.
If it can be done, where would the blue wire attach to the 122 switch?

The power supply and washer connections are pretty clear.

I could get a separate two position switch just for the washer, but.....
