I replace the fuel filter every 25K on my '86 sedan and tomorrow, I'm going to tackle the injector seals. When I releive the pressure when changing the filter, I pull both pump fuses, 4 and 6 and let the engine run for about 3 to 5 minutes and just get a little spray of gas on my hand. But today, I was going to let it run until it died because I didn't want and pressure at the fuel rail, but the engine never stalled. I had let it run for about 15 minutes before just turning off the key. It never even hesitated with the fuses removed. How long should I let it run before it's considered depressureized?
Thanks in advance for your opinions.
