I need some help. After turning on the cruise control slide switch on the turn signal stalk to the on position, I accelerate to the desired speed and push the set button. As soon as the set button is pushed there is a noise from under the hood on the driver's side of the firewall. The cruise control engages and holds speed (for now that is) but each time the set button is pushed the noise occurs. The noise does not occur when the car is idling of course as it won't engage under 22 mph. As it would be very difficult for me to figure a way to look under the hood and listen for a noise while I'm driving, I thought it best to ask for some help from some of you kind folks. Thanks..I'trying to keep my humor through this anoying little problem. Why can't we have things break that we can see and touch?
