proper placement of jack stands 200

A recent post on lifting a 240 and supporting it with jack stands made me wonder about my method of doing this. I lift the car with Volvo's jack using the lifting brackets designed for this jack, then slide a jack stand underneath the same bracket which fits inside the Volvo jack's arm, then lower the Volvo jack so the U-shaped bracket of the jack stand nests in the car's lifting bracket.

Lifting the car back up to remove the stand is the reverse of the above. It takes some effort to maneuver the Volvo jack into the car's lifting bracket, but it's possible.

I've only had one wheel at a time on a stand using this method.

What do you guys think?
