'89 740 front wheel bearing nut size and torque 700 1989

I am replacing left and right front axle bearings and hubs (integral unit) on my 1989 740GL. They held up well for 210K! I have two questions that I cannot find ansers for in my service books:

1) Size of the nut on the axle stub (this is NOT a crown nut; no cotter pin). I simply need to buy a new socket.
2) Torque specification and procedure after the new hub is installed. I assume I use an appropriate thread locking compound also.

Appreciate anyone's help!

Thanks!
