Fellas:
I apologize for posting this probably redundant message/problem. I searched through the archives but, either I didn't look hard enough, or the answer to my question really wasn't there.
No start on the trusty 240 GL today. I checked for spark on all four cyls. All good. I'm getting fuel to the rail and also past the regulator while trying to start. I have no idea what the fuel pressure is since I don't have a gauge. I tried to listen to the fuel injectors (screw driver method) but I'm not sure if the clicking I'm hearing are in fact the injectors opening or something else. So, my question really is: can a fuel pump not delivering sufficient pressure cause a no start condition? If it is, maybe I'll invest on a fuel pressure gauge/test rig to find out if it is my pump.
Thanks in advance for replies from you Bricksters out there.
