Hello Denny; Usually if a pump is weak it will try to start, it will at least pop, sputter or something. Sometimes it will fire and idle, but not rev any higher or bog out at speed from lack of fuel. Did you pull any sparkplugs after trying to start it,to see if they were wet? They may be getting too much fuel. Or dry, and no fuel. Is compression good?
