780 'Pimp my ride' airdam 700

After not watching TV for about 2 years I OD on it at a friends house last week watching all the how to shows. I saw this show Pimp Up My Ride. They took an old ford escort and put a BMW front end on it. Hey people go crazy all kinds of different ways. The point is I have an 1988 780 with no airdam. Has any body tried other makes of airdams to see if they might fit. If it was fiberglass it could be "sliced and diced" and use putty and paint to make it what it ain't. Your thoughts please.
