My door and or key in ignition chime keeps going off even as I drive, please help?????? 700

My 89 740 gle wagon is great! However the darn chime that sounds to acknowledge the key in the ignition keeps going "bling, bling, bling" its driving me bonkers! What can one do to fix and or eliminate it for the moment without messing with other electrical functions (fuse removal etc)? Please help!
