Old tranny is in the garage and summer is coming. I usually like to keep a clean garage. The tranny suffered a radiator coolant intrusion and I had to replace the tranny. (always stuck in 1st gear when cold for about half a mile)
Part of me wants to plop the thing up on a work table and start taking it apart just to see what's on the inside of it...cause I've never opened one up. Aside from the obvious parts I can salvage (OD solenoid, tailshaft housing, filler tube?), I'm not sure what future needs I may encounter w/ the other 240s I'm responsible for (all automatics).
It's kind of like the old AMM and/or ECU.....I just hate to throw it away because someone'll come along and figure a way to make them go another mile.

p.s. I don't have a boat (so I don't need an anchor)
