hello - i don't think i was able to find an answer for this in the FAQ.
i am trying to get a closer look at my relay board to check for cracks in the original soldering (it's the next step in my diagnosis of the fuel injection relay, which does click when i turn the key to on).
the FAQ mentions that the "wire umbillical cord(s)" is long enough that i should be able to pull out the board to get a good look at it; however, either i'm too timid or something's stuck, because i can't seem to pull the board out of the recess behind where the cigarrette lighter panel was. I get as far as having the fuses just barely peeking out of the recess. i definitely have the board freed from the white plastic clip on the left, too.
i fear that one of the hundreds of colorful wires will snap or disconnect from its proper home, and then i'll be in real trouble.
thanks very much for any advice.
