The ratio on the speedo in my car says 1.03. I have a standard M40 4-speed. Something tells me this ratio isn't right. Every other used speedo I've looked at says 0.99. The reason I'm asking is because my odometer doesn't work, and I was thinking of buying a used replacement or at some places you can buy a rebuilt and send your old back as a core. I just wanted to make sure if I replace the speedo, that the new one has the correct ratio. Does anyone know what a 74 with an M40 should have? The scale on my speedo goes to 130 mph.
