Sent little wifey to Volvo dealer to get copper exhaust stud nuts. I called first and asked the guy if they had the "Copper exhaust nuts" in stock. The guy says "yes." The guy then gives her some NOT-copper nuts and says that is what Volvo is supplying these days. To add insult to injury, the label on the litte parts zip lock baggie says that they were made in Taiwan!!
My real copper nuts were in such good condition that I'm just going to put them back on, heavily greased up with copper anti-seize and then return the cheap-o Taiwanese nuts to the Volvo dealer.
