This may not be the right forum but since most of the folks I know are
here I am posting here. Feel free to post this on other forums if you see fit.

"The Dutch Volvo V44 Club is organizing a drive through the United States to
celebrate its 35-year anniversary in August. They will start in New York and
drive to Washington, DC, Detroit, Niagara Falls and Chicago. From there they
will follow Route 66 to Los Angeles.
"The Dutch are interested in meeing American Volvo Owners along the way. If any
of the local chapters are interested in hooking up with them during their trip,
please contact Andrea van Kats, president of the Dutch Volvo Club, at
voorzitter@v44.nl"

I'm not sure how long this tour is planned to take but since I live within
40 miles of US 66/I-44 (two directions) I am planning to work out something
from here in Oklahoma. And the National Meet in Kansas City might even be
close enough in time and distance for consideration. Let's get together
(either together or independently) and show them that Gringos are friendly
folks, especially brickheads!
