horn wiring on a 122 120-130

has anyone had to rewire the horn on a 122? the horn was intermittent and when i pulled the steering wheel apart and tugged on the wire in the column there was no resistance. the wire came up freyed on the end where it had broken. i went under the hood and looked and it seems like the wire comes through the steering box. how do i rewire this?
