While fueling up earlier this week, I had a nice view of my dark gray '92 244 among a group of late model cars. It struck me then that this car and its body style are aesthetically more pleasing than any comparable modern car on the road. Without squint-eyed headlights, superfluous fender bulges, jagged panel creases, or silly boy-racer body kits, the design is a paradigm of clean, functional elegance.
This car (and our other 244s, for that matter) still turn heads on the road, especially after a wash job.
