Sunroof issue/leakage 200 1986

I have a 86 240 and it looks like the gear box has gone (again). My sunroof is almost closed but has a slight gap on the driver's side toward the front of the car. Any ideas on how to close it? Is it possible to fix the gear box or reposition the sunroof? Thanks.
