Drivetrain vibration/rumble when braking 200 1983

I get a hard vibation/rumble right before car stops when braking. Sometimes it sounds like it is right behind front seats in middle of car going all way back to rear wheels. Do not feel vibration in steering wheel, pedal, or stick shift. I keep thinking it is the drivetrain, but why when braking with clutch in (manual tranny)? Tranny mount?
