I've got an '85 244 DL w/173K and noticed that the rack's leaking a little fluid. I recently topped up the PS reservoir with type F ATF which is the same ATF that the car's M46 calls for. I'll take a better look at it tomorrow but are there remedies for fixing rack leaks short of replacing it with a rebuilt/new one?
