We've just come to the realization that as our family grows (the two of us, plus we now have TWO Great Danes) we just need a larger car.

Being that rear wheel drives with good records, good maintenance and lower miles are getting real hard to find, we've opted for a newer 1997 850 Turbo Wagon. I never thought I'd go to FWD, but I think it's a sign of the times.

I want to keep the 940, but the wife says either it goes, or the Land Cruiser goes, and the Cruiser is my camping/boat towing vehicle, so that's not practical. I don't want to sell it-- I really wanted to fix it up cosmetically so it would look as good as it runs, but that will now be someone else's task. The hard part will be just turning it over to a total stranger. I was really hoping to see it to a million miles.... :(

Thanks to everyone here in the 900 Section who have helped me through some real tough times with the 940 over the past few years. I'm sure I'll be over in the FWD section from time to time, and I'll stop by and say hello every so often.
