Now that I'm taking up all the sisal matting under the rubber floor mat, what sort of material should I be putting down? Preferrably something that will damper sound and that is easily available - would carpet padding work, or is that another disaster in the making?

Also, where can I find some new heat/sound dampening material to go under the hood? IPD doesn't list anything for the 122, just the P1800


Economy/Budget is a bog consideration, but I don't want to make a situation worse by going cheap. Ideas?
