Brake Failure Sensor Switch Seal Leak 200 1983

The brake failure sensor switch that screws into the distribution block is leaking. This block is mounted to the frame just inside the left front wheel. I thought the leak was around the rubber sealing ring that fits over the threads on the sensor switch. I purchased FCP Groton's Brake Junction Box Switch ($12) and replaced the complete switch and seal. It's still leaking! I'm beginning to think the switch seal is not intended to seal against the hydraulic brake pressure. This would mean I'd need to purchase a new distribution block ($62) or rebuild the existing one. Am I on the right track and, if so, can the distribution block be rebuilt or does it need to be replaced. jp
