'93 245 radio question 200 1993

I've got a problem with the radio in my '93 240 wagon. From time to time it sounds like the ground in bad - poor, distant reception, then it sort of clicks back into normal play and all is well. This can happen when I hit a bump, but sometimes it happens on smooth roads - does anyone know where the ground wire is on my car ? Could the radio be going bad ? Thanks ALL !
