Greetings! My son is in the midwest - and I am flying out from the west coast to meet him for a x-c road trip. He said his 93 240 has started making some funny noises - his mechanic diagnosed it as a speedometer cable - $200 quote to repair. He told my son if the noise bothered him, to "turn up the radio" -- sounds kind of crazy to me. Should I advise him to fix it - or wait until we get "home" - I want neither loud music or wrong noises from the car. Thanx!! Mark
