In my quest to fix up the dash area of my car, I have purchased a better-looking horn ring and a black plastic steering wheel shroud to replace my warped cracked shroud.

Since my shroud is warped and cracked I could get it off. But I can't get the new shroud on there. Do I have to take off the turn signal. It just about fits but not quite. Am I missing something?

And, of course, with the new horn ring, the horn doesn't work anymore.
