Idling is really rough 200

ive got a 84 volvo 244 dl and its not idlin real smooth. when i start it it starts fine, but after a few seconds of idling, it dies. then i would have to do it about 5 times in order for the car to start idling well w/o applying a lil gas. i cleaned out the throttle body by sprayin some carb cleaner. still doesnt work.
