I am driving back down to the beach with a Bosch VR/Brush set to replace on my malfunctioned alternator. This is a pretty easy swap on a 1993 240 ???? Just need a screwdriver, right?

If this does not fix the problem, I will also carry a back-up battery for insurance. I am determined to get my baby back home without having to buy a complete alternator from some Yahoos in Vacationland.
