Had the sway bar link break on the passenger side, so I bought two from FCPGroton to replace them both. After taking off the two old links and assembling the bushings on the new ones to install them, I noticed that the original nuts do not fit the new sway bar links and Autozone doesn't have a single nut that will fit them. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Also, I completely rebuilt my suspension last summer (except for the sway bar links) replacing all bushings with polyurethane. I had the infamous problem about the control arm bushings not fitting perfectly and it ended up pushing my wheels forward about 5mm. Now the hole in the sway bar doesn't line up with the hole in the control arm requiring me to install the sway bar link at an angle, thus putting awkward strain on the bushings, and one of my polyurethane bushings has already cracked. Has anyone figured out a way around the polyurethane control arm bushing problem?
