Body R & R - Fenders/Nose 120-130

Looking for tips on removal of fenders and nose section. Planning on just sanding, wire brushing, treating rust, bodyworking, priming. Painting to be done by pro.

Recommendations and tips anyone? Products, methods, techniques.

Media blasting worth it, or to be avoided?

Never done this before so any info. appreciated. (I've done bodywork but it was on an airplane)

As always, trying to avoid the old, "Oh, I guess I shouldn't have done that."

Thanks to all,
