best starter for my 244GLT? 1982 200 1982

I need a new starter, I've been trying around town- the rebuilder shops are backed up 2 weeks, one shop has a rebuilt unit for 150, and Schucks had one for 99 + 20$ core return. I just bought the one from Schucks- its remanufactured and boxed as "autolite" but the unit is stamped Bosch. I don't know which of the two remanufactured it, but it looks good.

My question is if I should install this starter, or one from a different model volvo. I've read in a few places the 940 starter is possibly smaller/lighter/better than the OEM on my '82 244GLT. In which case, I could return the starter I have and buy one for a 940.

what do you think?
