BW55 Transmission question for a 1981 244dl, B21A motor, 153,153kms 200 1981

Got the under the car, for a look. I grabbed the Drive Shaft near the Transmission, just behind the Universal Joint, gave a shove and yank. Visible movement and a minor clunk. No leaks, no noise when driving, no anything. Should I be worried, is it an item that is peculiar to BW55 cars?

Any ideas or information is appreciated, as always.
