940 Turbo preventive maintenance 900 1993

For the last 2 years, I serviced the car myself by changing the oil filter, engine oil, spark plugs and engine oil. Previously, it was serviced by Volvo agents but rather expensive. Questions I have (1)what other items should I look at; (ii) how long before you need to clean the idle control unit, throttle body and turbo unit and (iii) how often do you change the transmission oil, power steering oil, brake oil. Hope to have some feedback before something big items will kick in due to neglect.
