My blower motor is noisy, and sooner or later I have to do something about it. I'm in the midst of doing all of the depressing research on what a pain in the butt this will be, and I still have one thing I wonder about. My blower works fine, but it is fairly obvious to me that the noise is coming from bearings somewhere inside it. It runs quietly at its lowest and highest settings, but screams at any of the settings in between. Is is possible to replace the bearings in the motor without replacing the entire motor? If so, is it any easier, and is it worth it to bother?
