The engine replacement is complete, following catastrophic failure of the #1 connecting rod in late May at Hallett. We bought a slightly used ITB-ready (balanced and blueprinted) B20 short block from Rotem Gill in Michigan. Valve touchup was done on the head from the old engine, it was then mated with the "new" short block. Initial installed runs, retorques, valve settings, oil change, etc, are done. We are ready to go racing again.
Our next outing is Sunday July 24th at Hallett.
