Check Engine Light

Hello, I have a 1997 960 Wagon with a "Check Engine" light on. The OBD-II scanner code indicated a P0410 "Pulsed secondary air injection system" issue. After reading several of the postings on this forum concerning this issue it would appear I need to check the vaccum lines and pump associated with this system. My question is if I find and correct the issue will the "Check Engine" light go off on its own or does it have to be reset? If it has to be reset how is this accomplished without an expensive trip to the dealer?

Thanks for your help
