AC temperature at the vents 700

Hi all:

I'm try to determine if my AC systems are up to par. I have 2 similar systems. A Turbodiesel with a Sanden Comressor and a B230FT with a Zexel Compressor. On hot days , like now. I'm getting around 49 to 55 degrees at the vents, city driving. This is for both of them. Both systems have been changed over to R134A. The B230FT, by me and the Turbodiesel, by the PO's mechanic. I used a VOV, new Dryer and evacuated the system, in the B230FT. I don't know what's in the Turbodiesel. The low side pressures are where they should be on both systems.

I've read some incredible reports of 35 to 39 degrees at the vents. The only way I can get to the low 40's is on a long steady drive.

I can certainly live with this, if it's normal. But it doesn't compare to our new car.

What do you guys think?

Thanks
