Very stiff brake pedal 120-130

Car's been sitting in the garage for most of the winter/spring. First drive was to work this morning (only about 10 blocks--I usually walk!) and the brake pedal was very stiff--probably didn't move more than an inch or two to engage brakes. Car didn't seem to have a lot of roll to it, sort of like if the emergency brake is partially engaged. Right rear wheel seemed a little hot after I parked. I haven't gotten into much DIY brake repair stuff yet--What are some things I should look at tonight when I get home?
