Intermittent no start then no start condition...the solution.

I finally tracked down the fault with a little help from a friend. A friend of mine came by yesterday and collectively we started going through the wiring diagrams (I found and bought a Haynes manual). We starting tracing signals and came to the mass connector on the left fender well and at first glance it appeared to be in good condition but upon further inspection we could tell that something was clogging the barrel connections. It turned out to be a wax like substance that was filling most of the connectors. The wires also pushed down in to the plug preventing contact. I do not know if this was part of the original connector that deteriorated or not. But be that as it may it was removed and all of the barrel connectors were placed onto the male portion of the mass connector without the other half of the plug. The car still did not start. I then checked the radio suppression relay which has the same connector and found that it was suffering from the same problem. Once it was cleaned the car started and it running fine. I checked the RSR connector on my 90 model and it has the same problem.
I still need to find a way to replace the other portion of the connectors. Any ideas on this.
Thanks for all of the advice.
