My brakes won't respond well, help!!! 200 1982

Hi I own a 240 Diesel Estate and my brakes don't seem to work well. When I apply the brake pedal, the pressure seems stiff, and that it won't stop on the dime. I had it checked at Just Brakes for an inspection, and they told me that the vacuum pump isn't pushing enough power to the brakes. Now the question is, where can I be able to purchase one other than the stealer, or get a rebuild kit instead? Any help would be appreciated
